CHAMBER CHATTER - June Recap
Check out a few of the things the chamber and its members have been doing in the community this month.
Pioneer Library System hosted the Makers and Their Markets Luncheon Workshop.
Nicole Sanchez and Kellie Clay met with Leslie Merritt to conduct her exit interview from the Chamber and then celebrated with Snow Cones at Roller Shaved Ice.
Chamber members were invited to the ribbon cutting at COJC and given a tour of the new facilities.
Revive Free Will Baptist Church hosted June's T.A.G. meeting as we heard from James and Sons Paint, Patriot Electric and Tinker Federal Credit Union.
The All-American Blood Drive hosted by the American Legion Post was a great success with 33 donations.
Several board members volunteered their time at Legacy Parenting in honor of the late Jay Scott Brown.

Breakfast Workshop - Tax Pros Roundtable
Free for current Chamber members - $25 for non-members. This includes workshop and breakfast at Farmer's Daughter on July 19th at 9am.
Monthly learning and networking program.
Seating is limited.
Join in the conversation and learn some tips and tricks to help your business while networking with a fun and engaged group of business minded community members.
Workshop topics vary, but this month we are discussing 2022 Business Taxes courtesy of Gibson & Reynolds. Remember that if you can't make it, send a representative of your business. They will learn something and represent your brand in your absence.

Quarterly Luncheon - Dark Web
Go Consulting will be discussing the dangers of the Dark Web. Come join us for lunch and learn more about the side of the internet that most know little about but that can affect any one of us and our businesses. We will meet on July 26th at noon in the City Hall Auditorium located at 114 N Broadway St., Tecumseh, OK 74873.
Loren Knight will be educating us on how to protect our most important asset with focuses on security breaches and how they occur, employee protection from credential loss, good email hygiene and the Dark Web. This is one luncheon you don't want to miss out on!

The Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for those interested in serving on our board of directors. We encourage anyone interested in being an integral part of what is happening in Tecumseh to consider putting in your application today!
In the past our chamber has requested everyone nominate candidates, but we have found that many who are nominated were not accepting the nomination. Frontier Days Committee Meeting June 29th at Noon City Council Chambers
Frontier Days planning has begun!
Please consider lending a helping hand and assist in organizing the annual city-wide festival Frontier Days. There are many jobs both big and small. Please attend and learn how you can help.
One of the perks to volunteering on the committee is having a heads up to new sponsorship opportunities. Your name and company you represent will be mentioned in various publications for your contribution efforts. Not to mention, you will feel great about volunteering for your chamber to help promote Tecumseh!
We will meet at the Tecumseh City Council Chambers at Tecumseh City Hall located at 114 N. Broadway St., Tecumseh, OK at noon June 29th.
Downtown Banner Beautification Effort
The Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce is hosting a downtown beautification effort that supports eating, shopping, playing and growing locally.
Your business (or individual) name will be proudly displayed on your banner of choice (banners are limited and this opportunity is first come first served.)
Choose 1 of 4 colorful designs to help advertise your business and show your support for Tecumseh!
First year banners are $200 each. The chamber will offer to re-hang the banners annually at the cost of $100 each banner each year. Banners will proudly be displayed 11 months of the 12 month year.
