Our 3rd annual Grinchmas and WhoVille is coming to the Tecumseh Community on December 5th. The Grinchmas parade will kick off at 6:30pm followed by our WhoVille Festivities inside the City Hall Auditorium from 7pm-9pm.
The time has come, the time is near, for our third annual Grinchmas and Whoville Celebration is almost here! Mark your calendars for December 5th, when City Hall transforms into a Whoville wonderland. From 7 pm to 9 pm, come one, come all, for FREE photos with the Grinch (though he might just be eyeing your roast beast). Sip on Hot Chocolate served by the Chamber and explore the Food Trucks nearby, offering a feast that could tempt even the Grinchiest of Grinches. Family-friendly fun will be abound, sure to make the Grinch’s heart grow three sizes as he sees the love from our Whoville town.
But that’s not all! We’re calling on you, generous Whos, to bring gifts, stuffed animals, and blankets to place under the Grinch’s tree. All donations will be whisked away to our local non-profits to warm the hearts of children in need.
But wait, there's more!
By signing up on THIS FORM, you’re pledging your support to host a 10x10 space (or bigger, just let us know!) brimming with Whoville cheer. We need your creativity to dazzle our young Whos with activities, games, and festive fun! Think cookie decorating, bracelet making, ring toss, ornament crafting—let your imagination soar higher than Mount Crumpit! For ideas and inspiration, check Pinterest, Google, or simply reach out to Kimberly Elliott at the Chamber Office (405.598.8666).
*Dressing up is not necessary, but it sure it FUN!!
So, what do you say, Whoville? Let’s make this Grinchmas the best one yet!
*Whoville, gather ‘round, it’s that time once more!*
The Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce is throwing a spectacular Grinchmas Holiday Parade and Marching Band Contest on Thursday, December 5th! The Who-ville-worthy lineup begins at 5:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church (301 S. Broadway), where the most fantastical floats and the jolliest bands will gather. At precisely 6:30 p.m., the parade will march through the streets, spreading cheer (and maybe a bit of mischief) for all to hear!
*Best of all, participation is FREE*—just like the Grinch’s favorite word, “no charge!” We do kindly request pre-registration for the lineup, but if you feel the Grinch-y spirit last minute, no worries! We’ll accept entries upon arrival.
