September brings us Frontier Days where we celebrate Tecumseh! Make plans to join us on September 17th for a full day of festivities. 

CHAMBER CHATTER - August Recap

Check out a few of the things the chamber and its members have been doing in the community this month.

We have the exciting opportunity to visit Tecumseh's Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center (COJC) located at 700 S. 9th at 9am on September 8th and explore the new renovations that have been completed on this Next Generation Campus and learn more about the heart of the program. Because this is a secure facility, pre-registration is needed. Please make sure you click the "register now" button so that you will be added to the list of those who will be attending on September 8th. Registration will close on September 7th at noon, so please register before that time.

For inquiring minds: T.A.G. stands for Tecumseh Area Guides. We aim to infuse dollars into our local Tecumseh business community, learn of different economic pieces in our area, network and volunteer to support the different pieces.

We strive to be an integral role within our community to building and developing healthy business relationships that develop a greater and healthier Tecumseh, OK.

You can be a part of T.A.G. if you are a current member of the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce, as they assist the chamber with ribbon cuttings, referrals, and other chamber functions.

Join in the conversation, learn some tips and tricks to help your business while networking with a fun and engaged group of business minded community members.

This event is free for our chamber members! Workshop topics vary, so check your newsletter for this month's topic. Remember that if you can't make it send a representative of your business. They will learn something and represent your brand in your absence.

The Tecumseh Chamber will begin sending out survey links by October 10th. Please be on the lookout for your link. Your vote is important, and we need everyone's input to make sure that our awards are issued to the most deserving Chamber members and community members.

Join us in oohing and ahhing at the contestants competing for our various crowns at this year's Frontier Day's Pageant. 



These young ladies have worked hard to bring us an amazing show. Be there on September 11th at 3pm at City Hall's Auditorium to show your support!

Join us on September 15th for Frontier Day's Gospel Sing. We will be at Broadway Chapel located at 204 S Broadway from 7pm-9pm. The main event for Frontier Days begins with the 5K/1Mile Fun Run Walk/Run at 7:30am, followed by the parade at 10am and continues along Broadway with an entertainment packed day until 4pm. Then we are moving the fun to Slick Humphrey's Park for a Battle of the Bands and concert featuring the Jeremy Fullbright Band from 6pm-9pm to wrap up the day's events.

The Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce is hosting a downtown beautification effort that supports eating, shopping, playing and growing locally.

Your business (or individual) name will be proudly displayed on your banner of choice (banners are limited and this opportunity is first come first served.)

Choose 1 of 4 colorful designs to help advertise your business and show your support for Tecumseh! 



First year banners are $200 each. The chamber will offer to re-hang the banners annually at the cost of $100 each banner each year. Banners will proudly be displayed 11 months of the 12 month year.

Please consider sponsoring our upcoming quarterly luncheon set for July 26th at noon. We are asking those interested in sponsoring to contact the chamber's office at 405-598-8666. 



Your sponsorship dollars are an investment into education for our membership. Help us bring vital topics to our members that help them succeed. We also want to encourage networking and participation amongst our members. 

The upcoming topic will be Cybersecurity and the Dark Web. We hope to learn more about today's technology and how to best protect our businesses. Each sponsorship will include social media gratitude and advertisements along with a digital display of thanks during the presentation. 

Our chamber membership organization is similar to your business, and we must make efforts to market our accomplishments.
