FireLake Foods, owned by Citizen Potawatomi Nation encompasses three stores in our county. FireLake Discount Foods, opening its doors in May of 2001, FireLake Express Grocery in Tecumseh in 2005, and our most recent location FireLake Express Grocery, open it's doors to customers in 2016. FireLake Express Grocery in Tecumseh at one time was the only location in Tecumseh to purchase groceries.

"At FireLake Foods, we are passionately committed to retail excellence, one customer at a time. This retail excellence goes far beyond the brick and mortar, whether it's volunteering in the soup kitchen to handing out candy to our smallest customers (kids), FireLake Foods & it's employees donate countless hours and dollars to our local community to impact more than one customer at a time. “We wouldn’t have been able to grow and do everything that we’ve done — with three grocery stores, two convenience stores — we wouldn’t be able to do that without excellent staff that are dedicated, hardworking and passionate about seeing those stores be successful,” said FireLake Foods Director Richard Driskell. “I can’t say enough about the employees that work for us.”"
