"While Daylight Donuts has been a Tecumseh staple long before I was born, Ma Beasley’s LLC reopened the shop in August of 2020. With no prior restaurant experience we dove in head first to attempt to keep the legacy of “The Donut Shop” alive. While maintaining the donut shop along with a variety of other businesses the first year was a roller coaster, but we couldn’t be happier to be serving our community."
Why is your company deserving of this award?:
"I’m honored and humbled to have our company be considered for business of the year. Taking over a town legacy has been an adventure and I’m so happy for how the community as a whole has embraced us through this transition and will the new items we have started offering. I’m so proud of our growth over the last year and I hope that love and passion is visible to our customers and the community."
