"Eddy and Jan Parker, THS class of 1966 grads, returned to their hometown in 1972 to be close to family, raise their new baby, and start a business. AECO has always been a family affair with Eddy’s dad, Archie, and Jan’s sister, Donna, working for the business in the early years. Eddy and Jan’s son, Ben, has worked off and on over the years as well. Today their girls, Kacy and Mendy, keep up with the day to day responsibility of the company. They work hard to continue to what their Dad started 50 years ago."
Why is your company deserving of this award?:
"AECO Sales and Service celebrated 50 years in business in March. Over the years, the technology and business has changed, but Eddy and his crew have continued to provide excellent products and service to customers all over the country. This business could have been started anywhere, but Tecumseh was the only choice. Eddy and Jan are active in the Tecumseh community from church, to civic duties, and volunteering. They have always been willing to give back time and talents to help others."
