The Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce is holding a membership drive. It is free to the members and a non-member guest who is interested in joining us. We will speak about the different resources the chamber has to offer and teach the members and potential members how to maximize their memberships to grow their business and the business community. Please consider attending and enjoy a free breakfast, and a free workshop to learn new ways to help your business! 


Join the membership to learn, network, and expand your brand. 


This event will be held at The Farmer's Daughter Market. Located at 302 N. Broadway St. Tecumseh, OK.

Frontier Days Committee Meeting
April 20th at Noon City Council Chambers

Frontier Days planning has begun!


Please consider lending a helping hand and assist in organizing the annual city-wide festival Frontier Days. There are many jobs both big and small. Please attend and learn how you can help.


One of the perks to volunteering on the committee is having a heads up to new sponsorship opportunities. Your name and company you represent will be mentioned in various publications for your contribution efforts. Not to mention, you will feel great about volunteering for your chamber to help promote Tecumseh!


We will meet at the Tecumseh City Council Chambers at Tecumseh City Hall located at 114 N. Broadway St., Tecumseh, OK at noon April 20th.

The chamber has teamed up with Vyve Broadband to create a contest for our community members to help "Theme Your Frontier" for Frontier Days citywide festival this year.


The winner who submits the best great idea with the best matching t-shirt design for the new Frontier Days theme will receive a brand-new pair of Apple Ipods and $200!


Deadline to submit is May 2nd, 2022 by 3pm.

Meet Your Interns

The chamber has been blessed to be able to work with a brilliant group of young ladies this semester. They have been working hard to help build promotional marketing materials and tools to help grow and expand your chamber and target the younger generation.

Leslie Merritt Resigns

Leslie Merritt, Executive Director for the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce is stepping out of her role and looking forward to growth opportunities.



Merritt has opted to give the board, the organization, and its membership a resignation with adequate time to fill her position and allowing for an easy transition process. Merritt’s last day will be June 17th, 2022, but she hopes to support the organization long after her departure.

T.A.G. Group Swag Opportunity 

The chamber has been asked to participate in several appreciation weeks to recognize different groups.


Our T.A.G. group (Tecumseh Area Guides, our chamber ambassadors) would love to help create packets and drop off at different sites.


Upcoming requests that have been made:


Teacher Appreciation Week: May 2nd - 6th 


Police Week: May 15th - 21st

In the past our chamber has requested everyone nominate candidates, but we have found that many who are nominated were not accepting the nomination. The City of Tecumseh is hosting their 2nd Annual Mingle on Main Block Party. They are now accepting applications for vendors to participate.
